Owner & Head Trainer

Dillon Vedral is a highly respected soccer coach, trainer, and mentor, known for his ability to develop players at all levels—from aspiring youth athletes to NCAA standouts and professional players. As the owner and head trainer of Vedral Soccer Academy, Coach Dillon has dedicated his career to shaping the next generation of elite soccer talent. His impact extends beyond the local scene, as he has played a key role in the growth of numerous athletes who have reached NCAA programs, professional leagues, and even youth national teams.

Playing Career

Born in Dallas, TX, and raised in Cedar Hill, Dillon’s soccer journey began in his hometown, where he played locally before transitioning into competitive club soccer. His passion and talent led him to the University of Central Arkansas, where he competed at the NCAA Division I level and later captained the team for two seasons. During his collegiate career, he earned multiple individual and team accolades, demonstrating his leadership both on and off the field.

After his time at UCA, Dillon continued his playing career in domestic leagues such as the Premier Development League (PDL) and Professional Arena Soccer League (PASL). He also trained internationally, gaining valuable experience with clubs in Belgium and Germany, further expanding his understanding of the game at a global level.

Coaching Career

Transitioning into coaching, Dillon began his journey with FC Dallas Youth, where he spent six years as a head coach, developing players across various age groups. His deep understanding of the game, combined with his ability to refine technical and tactical skills, made him a sought-after coach in the region.

Driven by a vision to create a high-level training environment for players of all ages and skill levels, Dillon founded Vedral Soccer Academy. Through VSA, he has been able to work with youth athletes, college players, and professionals, offering specialized training that focuses on technical precision, soccer IQ, and game-day confidence. He continues to train professional players during their offseason, ensuring they maintain peak performance year-round.

Coaching at the Highest Levels – Kings League & TST

Beyond his work at VSA, Dillon has been recognized on the international stage, serving as the USA head coach for the Kings League 7v7 World Cup, a globally renowned small-sided competition featuring top players from around the world. He has also been a head coach of West Ham United at TST (The Soccer Tournament), a high-stakes, highly competitive 7v7 tournament that attracts elite talent from professional leagues, ex-international stars, and top amateur teams.

Coach Dave

David Balyeat

Coach David Balyeat—better known to many as SocccerDave—is a Dallas native with deep roots in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he learned the game the way it was meant to be played: on the streets and inside the elite first-division academies. His unique blend of raw creativity and disciplined training shaped him into the passionate, skilled, and inspiring coach he is today.

David made his professional debut at just 19 years old in Bolivia’s Second Division and continued his career through Spain’s 4th Division, signing his final contract at age 27. Along the way, he earned a degree in Sports Management from Dallas Baptist University, grounding his on-field experience with academic insight into athlete development and sports leadership.

A global ambassador for the sport, David believes in soccer’s power to shape lives—not just produce players. He’s dedicated to developing complete athletes who embrace values like hard work, consistency, discipline, kindness, and respect, both on and off the field.

Coach David is also one of the most influential voices in youth soccer today, with a strong and growing presence across social media platforms. Through his digital outreach, he connects with players around the world, delivering content that educates, motivates, and inspires. His platform has become a powerful tool for making the beautiful game accessible to all.

Most recently, David suited up alongside Coach Erik at the TST $1 Million Tournament, competing under Coach Dillon’s leadership as part of the Dallas United squad—further proving his skill, leadership, and relentless drive on the big stage. David also participated with Dortmund of Germany and Drip FC at recent TST events.

Bryan Ukeje

Tactical Mind • Calculated Leader • Player-First Mentor

Coach Bryan Ukeje brings a sharp tactical mind and a calm, commanding presence to every training session. Known for his ability to break down the game with clarity and purpose, Coach Bryan has a rare gift for teaching players of all ages how to think, move, and compete like true students of the game.

Bryan began his playing career with Mansfield Samba FC before joining the renowned Dallas Texans under Coach Ben Williams, playing key defensive roles as a center back, holding midfielder, and right back. In his senior year, he played under Ed Puskarich for the Texas Spurs, where he cemented himself as a dominant center back. His high school career was marked by major accolades including First Team All-Region Defender for 5A and Defensive MVP of the District.

Bryan went on to compete at the collegiate level for West Texas A&M University (DII), gaining experience that further deepened his understanding of advanced systems and strategies.

Now a respected coach at Vedral Soccer Academy, Coach Bryan is one of the academy’s most influential mentors. His sessions are detailed, intentional, and rooted in developing high soccer IQ alongside technical precision. He challenges players to read the game, understand space, and play with confidence and discipline.

Preston Duppstadt

Mentorship • Passion • Results

Coach Preston grew up in Mansfield, TX having played for multiple clubs throughout the metroplex (Texas Spurs, Dallas Texans, Solar, FC Dallas). Fun fact, he played for Coach Dillon’s FC Dallas Youth team. He also spent multiple years playing ODP alongside current U.S. national team players and professional players across the globe. Coach Preston has participated in many top tournaments such as Gothia Cup (Sweden), Dana Cup (Denmark), and Dallas Cup. He has also spent time in Germany training with teams in the RegionalLiga, the 4th tier of the professional German Leagues. 

Coach Preston graduated from Lake Ridge High School where he was a varsity starter 3 years with all-district awards and honors earned every year, as well as being the team captain. He was also club captain alongside Coach Bryan with majority of his club teams. He then played college soccer at East Texas Baptist before returning home due to COVID lockdown and to pursue being a full time head trainer for Vedral Soccer Academy. While doing so, Coach Preston graduated from UT Arlington, earning his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science while achieving Magna Cum Laude status. 

Throughout his time in College, Coach Preston spent many seasons competing in the UPSL with Texas Spurs, even winning a championship with them and scoring the game winning goal in the conference finals. He even spent 365 days in a row training and uploading his content to inspire other players. Coach Preston is now pursuing his Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy, with the ultimate goal of combining his rehab back within the soccer community and Vedral Soccer Academy. 

Outside of Vedral Soccer Academy, Coach Preston has also been a Soccer Youth All-American coach over many different events, leading at least one of his teams to a championship game every event he has attended. Over the years, Coach Preston has participated as an integral part of the Vedral Soccer Academy and has played an integral part in the continued growth of Vedral Soccer Academy. 


Erik Macias

Elite Futsal Talent • Proven Leader • Relentless Developer of Players

Coach Erik Macias is one of the most under-the-radar stars in American futsal and professional indoor soccer—a true technician of the game with a deep understanding of what it takes to lead, compete, and win at the highest levels. A current professional player in the Major Arena Soccer League (MASL), Erik has captained his teams for several seasons and continues to be a consistent force both on and off the field.

Erik also represents the U.S. Futsal National Team, where he recently helped the squad lift the Umag Nations Cup, proving his ability on the international stage. His pro journey began with the legendary Dallas Sidekicks, and he's continued to rise as one of the most respected players in the indoor and futsal world today.

A graduate of UT Tyler with a degree in Kinesiology, Erik was a four-year starter in college, earning All-Region and First Team All-Conference honors. His deep understanding of performance, movement, and player development extends into his coaching career, where he served three years as the Assistant Coach for Paul Quinn College's Men’s and Women’s Soccer Teams.

Off the futsal court, Erik continues to compete at a high level in outdoor soccer with DKSC Men’s UPSL team, also playing in the U.S. Open Cup. He’s no stranger to big moments—he captained Coach Dillon's Dallas United team at the TST $1 Million Tournament, leading with calm under pressure and unmatched experience. Erik also helped lead the US Men’s 7v7 Team to the Quarterfinals of Kings League Nations World Cup alongside Coach Dillon Vedral.

STEVEN DANG

Coach Steven brings world-class playing experience and elite-level training expertise to Vedral Soccer Academy. Born and raised in Dallas, he developed through some of the most competitive clubs in the area—including FC Dallas, Dallas Texans Academy, AYSES FC, and Andromeda Academy—while mastering multiple positions from striker to central defender.

A standout at Plano West under legendary coach Jimmy Dowell, Steven earned a collegiate career at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, where he made an immediate impact as a freshman starter. Over four years, he racked up accolades including First Team All-American Southwest Conference, Defensive Player & MVP of the ASC Tournament, and United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-American. He was also selected for the USA Division III National Team Tour in Brazil, where he competed against top U-22 clubs in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.

Steven’s journey didn’t stop there—he went on to play professionally for six seasons in Vietnam’s top league, representing clubs like Hoàng Anh Gia Lai FC, Nam Định FC, Becamex Bình Dương FC, and SHB Đà Nẵng FC.

Now a respected speed, agility, and strength trainer at Gray Fit, Coach Steven combines his global experience with a deep passion for developing youth players. He knows what it takes to succeed—and his mission is to pass that fire on to the next generation. Hanna Barker

Coach Hanna is an elite-level professional player with a global résumé and a heart for developing the next generation of soccer talent. A Dallas native, she grew up competing at the highest levels with D’Feeters ECNL before continuing her journey as a student-athlete at Stephen F. Austin, where she earned her degree in just 3.5 years.

Since graduating, Hanna has spent the last seven seasons overseas, carving out a professional career that spans Iceland, Hungary, Turkey, Spain, and even the prestigious UEFA Women’s Champions League. Her international experience gives her a unique, high-level perspective on what it takes to succeed—technically, tactically, and mentally.

Now back home during the off-season, Coach Hanna is passionate about giving back to the community that shaped her. Her coaching style blends pro-level detail with genuine encouragement, helping players unlock their confidence, elevate their technical ability, and build the mindset needed to reach their goals on and off the field.

Karen Martinez

Coach Karen brings elite-level experience and a powerful drive to help young athletes reach their goals. A Dallas native, she grew up breaking barriers—competing with boys from a young age before making her mark in the local girls’ club scene. Her talent and determination earned her a spot with the prestigious North Texas ODP regional team, where she trained and competed among the top players in the state.

Now playing collegiate soccer for Texas A&M International University, Coach Karen brings firsthand knowledge of what it takes to excel at the next level. Her sessions combine high-level tactical understanding, technical precision, and a deep love for the game—especially inspired by her favorite club, FC Barcelona.

Coach Karen is passionate about guiding players on their journey, whether they’re dreaming of college, pro, or simply reaching their personal best. Her goal is to instill confidence, creativity, and a relentless work ethic in every player she coaches.

Daishi Uekuri

Coach Daishi Uekuri was born and raised in Yokohama, Japan, where his passion for soccer and human performance first took shape. After graduating from high school, he moved to the United States to attend University of Central Arkansas, initially pursuing a path in athletic training. During the summer of his freshman year, Daishi competed as a midfielder in the NPSL, helping his team achieve a National Top 8 finish—an accomplishment that led to his recruitment by the UCA Men’s Soccer program. He went on to win two NCAA Division I conference championships while earning his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science.

Following his undergraduate success, Daishi relocated to Springfield, Missouri to complete his Master’s degree in Athletic Training at Missouri State University. After becoming a certified athletic trainer, he gained hands-on experience across multiple high-performance environments, including a physical therapy clinic, collegiate athletics, and the USL level with the Little Rock Rangers. He is currently continuing his education by pursuing a Doctorate in Chiropractic at Parker University.

As a soccer coach, Coach Daishi emphasizes mastery of the fundamentals—stopping, carrying, and striking the ball with precision. While simple in concept, he believes true development comes from executing these skills with consistently high quality. Drawing from his playing and professional experiences in both Japan and the United States, he is passionate about teaching players how to build a strong technical foundation. As a certified athletic trainer, his goal is to support athletes who are serious about reaching the next level by staying healthy, improving performance, or safely returning from injury. His services include one-on-one recovery treatments, performance conditioning, injury rehabilitation, and small-group conditioning sessions designed specifically for soccer players.


Coach Victor

Victor Salvo

Coach Victor was born in Barcelona and raised in Madrid, where soccer is more than a sport, it is a way of life. Growing up in Spain, he played soccer every day at recess with his friends, immersing himself in the game from a very young age. As he developed, he went on to compete at a high level with competitive clubs in Madrid, where he learned the technical, tactical, and mental foundations of the Spanish style of play.

During his senior year of high school, Victor moved to the United States, where he continued his playing career by competing in high school soccer for a year. This transition gave him a new perspective on the game, allowing him to blend the creativity and technical focus of European soccer with the athleticism and intensity of the American game. Around this time, he met Dillon Vedral, who played a key role in his development, helping him refine his skills as a player while also guiding him toward becoming a thoughtful and effective coach.

As a coach, Victor brings passion, structure, and attention to detail into every training session. He focuses on developing players by improving technical ability, game intelligence, confidence, and work ethic. His coaching philosophy emphasizes disciplined fundamentals, smart decision-making, and a love for the game. Having experienced soccer across different cultures and competitive environments, Victor adapts his coaching to each player’s needs, helping them grow both on and off the field while fostering a positive, challenging, and motivating environment.


Coach Seth

Seth Neveloff

Coach Seth is a former collegiate and semi-professional player with experience competing at high levels in both the United States and internationally. He played four years at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, where he was a four-year starter and earned First Team All-Conference honors along with All-Tournament recognition. His collegiate career taught him the discipline, consistency, and attention to detail required to perform at a high level week in and week out.

Following college, Seth continued his playing career in USL League Two with Round Rock SC and in the United Premier Soccer League with multiple teams across Texas. He later gained international experience playing in Romania, competing against Division 3 opposition from Hungary, Slovakia, and Romania, as well as Romanian Division 4 teams. These experiences broadened his understanding of the game and exposed him to different playing styles and competitive environments.

As a coach, Seth is highly player-focused and emphasizes helping players understand how to be effective within real game situations. His training sessions are built around game-realistic scenarios, position-specific development, decision-making under pressure, weak-foot mastery, and technical precision in shooting, passing, and dribbling at speed. He aims to create sessions that challenge players while preparing them to succeed in match environments.

 

Lee

Coach Lee is an active, competitive player with experience at both the collegiate and semi-professional levels, bringing a current, player-first perspective to every training session. He played one season at Dallas College, where he earned Second Team All-Conference honors, and continues to compete in semi-professional leagues and high-level tournaments across the United States. His ongoing involvement in the game fuels his constant desire to improve, learn, and evolve, both as a player and as a coach.

As a coach, Lee brings intensity, energy, and purpose to the field. He is deeply committed to pushing players outside their comfort zones while building confidence, resilience, and a strong competitive mindset. His sessions emphasize high tempo, game realism, and accountability, helping players understand how to make meaningful impacts during matches—not just train well, but perform when it matters most.

Coach Lee’s eagerness to grow alongside his players is what truly sets him apart. Parents can trust that their child is training with a coach who leads by example, understands the modern demands of the game, and genuinely cares about each player’s development. His goal is to challenge athletes to raise their standards, believe in their abilities, and take ownership of their growth—on and off the field.


Tanner Henderson

Coach Tanner is a Dallas–Fort Worth native whose connection to soccer began at an early age and has remained a constant throughout his life. Whether playing in the streets, at community courts, or in organized club environments, the game has always been central to his development. A multi-sport athlete, Tanner competed in high school soccer and track, earning the 2020 Ellis County Athlete of the Year honor before continuing his track career at University of Texas at Arlington. He will also compete with the FC Dallas Unified Team in 2026, further expanding his understanding of both the game and the community soccer creates.

On the field, Coach Tanner’s versatility stands out. He has competed across multiple positions—including winger, outside back, striker, and attacking midfielder—developing a well-rounded view of the game from every angle. His playing style is built on speed, control, focus, and teamwork, allowing him to bring intensity while remaining disciplined and purposeful in his decision-making.

As a coach, Tanner is passionate about helping players unlock their individual potential. His sessions emphasize speed, control, turning, and explosiveness, with a strong belief that development comes through intentional repetition—every rep matters. Drawing from his background in both track and soccer, he blends sprint mechanics, stamina development, and technical work to help athletes move more efficiently and confidently. Rooted in effort, honesty, courage, faith, and growth, Coach Tanner creates an environment where players are challenged, supported, and motivated to improve. He understands that development is personal, and his goal is to meet each athlete where they are and help move them forward—on the field and beyond.
